Synopsis
"Training one’s determination through burning flames and thick smoke, Saving other’s lives through selfless commitment." The path through life is twisted and uneven, who has never fallen? For those who fight fires and save lives, there is no exception.

After fire fighter, Kei Tak Tin (Wong Hei)’s wife dies, his attitude to work deteriorates. Just as he is in his prime, can he just pass the time away so steadily?

Experienced commander Tong Ming (Alex Fong) has been in many a fire. When he is in the frontline, why can he have so little control over his team?

Choi Nam Fung (Au Kam Tong) is left by his girlfriend because he has no future in his job. After changing to become a firefighter, his new girlfriend is forever worried about his safety. Will he give up on his dream job for this reason?

Chung Yan Yee (Maggie Cheung) is part of the lifesaver team. Outwardly strong and cool, she hides a past which she cannot reveal. Will living with a nightmare history affect her future career?

Kong Yat Nga (Yoyo Mung) is Ming’s wife who depends on him greatly and brings him even greater pressures. As the marriage breaks down, she can only leave. After the tears, can she compose herself again?

Yip Heung Yeung (Annie Man) is in love with a martial arts instructor and is Fung’s trainer. After her boyfriend dies, Fung becomes her counsellor, but can this master and disciple overcome their reservations and be together?
